Good evening everyone!
It is almost wrestling season!!!
We will be having our first Parent Meeting and Team Dinner of the season. If you know of a wrestler/parent  please feel free to let them know or reach out to me and we can get them invited to attend as well.
This is going to be a great season, we have so many people that have already come forward and volunteered to help make this a positive experience for the boys, so Thank YOU in advance for your time. We really appreciate you and all you do.
We are going to have our Parent Meeting / Team Dinner on Tuesday, October 28th so mark your calendars. For the team dinner we would like to have a pot luck style Sloppy Joe’s feast!! We will need to get sign ups for what each family can contribute. Below there is a list of the items needed. Coach Bowdren has offered to have the Wrestling Program provide the burger that is needed, so the rest will be up to us parents. We will also need a head count for the meal to plan accordingly.
Date: October 28th
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: High School Cafeteria
What: Wrestling Parent Meeting/Team Dinner
If you have questions on what to bring please feel free to call or text my cell phone: 406-321-2919
Again, Thank you so much for all your help!

Please email Teri Heinen to sign-up for a food assignment.

Prestige Academy of Wrestling (PAW) is a wrestling club designed for serious wrestlers.  PAW is for the youth wrestlers to prepare for high school wrestling, who have goals to excel in high school and earn a college scholarship. This year, we are moving to a new and improved facility in South Jordan, 1098 West South Jordan Parkway, Suite 101. The name of the new facility is Ultimate Sports Performance and practices will be held for Herriman wrestlers in the basement sports facility. Practices will still be run by Coach Pat Garcia and his staff. They will be offering wrestling, conditioning, speed, agility, and strength training. The new facility has been designed to help wrestlers reach their optimum performance.

A beginning and an advanced group practice will be held separately on Tuesdays and Thursdays with strength, speed and agility training on Wednesdays. Coach Garcia and his staff are excited to work with serious athletes who are committed to excel to become the best in their sport.

This program is for youth wrestlers K-8th grade for the folkstyle season.

Two of Herriman High School’s wrestlers, Cole Clark and Jaron Jenson, were part of the Utah Cadet National Team that competed in Florida this month.  They took 8th in Freestyle as a team, which is the highest Utah has ever placed in Freestyle at the Cadet Duals.
